Gujo Odori and Fireworks!

What a great weekend is coming up not only is the world famous Gujo Odori taking place but also the rescheduled Gifu Fireworks Display!

The Gujo Odori is coming up this Friday and Ajet is heading along! The Gujo Odori is a famous all night dance which takes place in the streets of Gujo. All of Gujo comes alive with a great festival atmosphere. 10 different traditional tunes are played in succession until dawn and each has its own dance. It really is an amazing and fun event so get your yukata on and come along.

What: Gujo Odori
When: August 14th (Friday) Meeting at Vie de France at 7:40pm, and will be arriving at Gujo at around 10.15pm
How much: Train tickets will come to around 3,600 yen from Gifu
RSVP: Not necessary (But for rough numbers would be appreciated)

Gifu Fireworks (Round 2)
After the washout with the fireworks the first time around, the event has been re scheduled to take place this coming Sunday . The set up is pretty much as before
What: Gifu Nagara Hanabi
When: Sunday 16th of August
Meeting Point: Vie de France, JR Gifu station 4:30pm
