2007 Gifu AJET Kashimo Camp

Hey everybody, the details have been finalized for the 2007 Gifu AJET Kashimo Sayonara Party. This is one of the major events of the year, our annual summer blowout event. 80+ people are expected to be there. Come for one final party with your friends to toast this AJET year a merry goodbye!

WHERE: Fureai No Yakata Kashimo, that wonderful, huge, beautiful wood lodge in Kashimo
COST: 5000yen per person

THE PLAN:

Nomihodai draft beer, cocktails, and soft drinks will be available on arrival. We'll be self-BBQing in the lodge, a course of meats, veggies, yakisoba, etc. Sunday breakfast will be fruit, cereal, juices, etc. It's a casual party to hang out with friends so feel free to do whatever like through the evening.

TRANSPORTATION:
There's plenty of free parking at the lodge. If you're driving, please look for people to carpool with you. They'll help pay your gas!If you're coming by train, you can be picked up at 4:00 or 5:30. If you are not there for those times, you must find your own ride.Driving directions will come in a later email.Gero train arrival times are at the end of the email.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
We will collect your payment at the front desk when you arrive, and issue you your cup. Please write your name on it bold and clear. It is your goblet, nay portal to liquid happiness for the night.

The lodge has 60 full bed sets. The RSVP limit is 85. Thus, the futons are first come, first served. Even if you expect to arrive early, if you are able, please bring a sleeping bag if you can to help someone out. Snuggling up with a friend is also encouraged to save futons.

As usual, all guests will be expected to help clean the cabin before leaving. This has never been a problem before. When every one pitches in, it makes for quite easy work. There will be cleaning rosters posted around the lodge. Also, keep in mind that our mess is our cleaning.

Drinks and food are NOT allowed in the tatami rooms. Keep it all to the first floor kitchen, main hall, and outside. Tatami rooms are for sleeping only. And please respect those already sleeping when you finally stumble into bed.

Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas.

There will be speakers for music. Bring your iPod/music player if you like.

Don't forget bathing supplies if you plan to shower.

Please don't break anything. (>_<) But if it happens, please fess up to it. NOTE:
we must receive your RSVP information by Tues, July 3rd. We must receive any cancellations NO LATER than Wed, July 4th. If something comes up after Wed, please find someone to replace you. If you do not find a replacement and are a no show/last minute cancellation/missed your train/whatever, you will still have to pay in full.
